purpose & overall relevance for the organization:
1. ensuring correct and daily execution of key responsibilities in thefinancial shared service (fss) center according to the requirements of fsspolicies, procedures and guidelines, and according to the group accountingmanual for specific area of responsibility (accounts/receivable/accountspayable/general ledger/retail)
2. self-directed worker for a specific service area
3. supports organizational effectiveness through the identification andcommunication of process improvement opportunities
key responsibilities:
1. perform accounting tasks in ap/ar/rtl for small, larger and more complexmarkets, having to deal with specific cases of each market
2. check and review master data changes
3. perform quality check on the work output within the team
4. create and maintain desktop procedures, checking for inconsistencies andimprovement opportunities
5. reconcile accounts to group reporting (grape) and resolve differences
6. handling of internal and external customer queries on standard and morecomplex cases
7. prepare and review training material and give training on specific cases forown area of
responsibility
8. technical expert on tx shuttle and edi
9. monitoring of work request and allocation (ticketing and e-mails)
10. perform and support period end processing tasks
11. vat expert within own area of responsibility
12. actively participate in continuous improvement projects
13. identify problems and propose solutions

requisite education and exp
erience / minimum qualifications:
1. university degree or equivalent education required
2. minimum of 5 years’work experience in ap/ar/gl areas
